The LAPP Group

Statement Martin Tepe

Martin Tepe, Manager Technical Competence Center, Lapp Service GmbH

Success Story

The Lapp Group has long been supported by AXSOS AG in matters of IT security. Together, the Lapp Group and AXSOS pursue three main objectives:

  • It should be possible to centrally manage IT security while at the same time allowing there to be individual policies in place for individual employees or entire departments.

  • The solution must be applicable to all clients and servers.

  • The clients should not be too overworked in the process.

With this solution, AXSOS AG now ensures not only that classic functions such as real-time protection or the detection of malware are guaranteed, but also that security policies and updates are always up to date. On the one hand, this prevents the intrusion of malicious data from the outside, and on the other hand, uncontrolled data transfer is prevented internally, for example via USB sticks with malicious software.

A special advantage for the Lapp Group also comes from the Policy Manager of the F-Secure Business Suite. With the help of this manager, all devices used worldwide can be managed from the company's headquarters in Stuttgart – this includes, above all, the monitoring of security updates as well as the control of the current status in real time.
