When Thomas Cook contacted AXSOS AG in 2016, they were looking for a complete solution. The goal was to move the cash register system into the cloud.

Today, AXSOS AG makes their cash register system for numerous travel destinations available centrally from Stuttgart. The system is hosted, monitored and maintained by AXSOS, from the computing power to the application. In addition, user administration and recurring tasks have been automated as much as possible, so that, for example, creating new users does not require any action on the part of IT.

A clear example of this: a Thomas Cook employee at a hotel in Mallorca books a jeep safari for a customer. He only needs to enter the data into the system once – all further steps are automated. So the seats are reserved, an invoice is issued for the customer etc. etc. etc....

This solution is very convenient for staff as they can log in to the site and manage their bookings from anywhere. The connections are stable, and access is secure thanks to a VPN. In addition, the solution is flexibly scalable because the infrastructure is drawn from the cloud. So, 40 employees can access the system without any problems during the low season, and up to 140 employees during the high season.

The company owns leading and renowned tour operator brands such as Neckermann Reisen, Thomas Cook Signature, ÖGER TOURS, BUCHER Last Minute, Tour Vital and Air Marin, the holiday airline Condor, and the hotel brands SENTIDO, smartline, SunConnect, Casa Cook, SUNWING and SUNPRIME.
