Cycling for Charity

In 2016, Sven Voigt, Livio Di Lieto, Sascha Haude and Michael Jensen founded the Radengel club. Alongside a passion for cycling, the Radengel team want to do some good: quick, unbureaucratic assistance for people who rely on it. The “Rad-Engel” (bike angels) see themselves as helpers in times of need.

The financial resources for this commitment come from the club kitty, which is fed by member contributions and sponsorship money. The Angels work on a volunteer and not-for-profit basis across the whole of Germany, and have already been able to financially support various projects. In Hamburg, for example, child-friendly bicycles and helmets were purchased for a kindergarten in a socially disadvantaged part of the city.

The club is sustained by the commitment of its members. For only by working together and in compliance with the values we have set ourselves can these goals be successfully achieved. The philosophy is no different at the IT company AXSOS AG – a face-to-face meeting with company founder Frank Müller immediately awakened that enthusiasm for the mutual values. Over the course of the conversation it became clear that both partners strive for the same goals in their different ways, so as to ultimately act successfully and in the interests of the people.
